You know those people in the Listerine Commercials...
They are really gargling with the stuff...

They are just moving air around their mouths...

They should tell us how awful the stuff tastes...

12. And It Prevents And Cures The Common Cold... Right?
Right? It's one of those "secrets" that "they" don't want you to know the truth about. The fact that the FDA made them stop saying that it helps to prevent colds is PROOF ENOUGH that it actually DOES help to prevent colds.

Now they have a WHITENING Listerine... it shines and bleaches your teeth while curing the common cold and freshening your breath.

2. How about the family of actors that Bayer helped out
I think it is hilarious that they cast that Bayer commercial with actors who are very familiar if not by name. I think the Dad in that is actually Mathew Perry's dad and the former Old Spice sailor guy (along with many other roles).

4. Listerine is primarily alcohol to kill the germs
and some flavor added. It's why you can spot the true alcoholics in the world buying bottles of it at the all night pharmacies - because no state law can stop you from buying it at any hour.

8. I use Crest.
Much better. No burn--I can keep the stuff in my mouth for more than 3 seconds.

11. Some kind person told me of another reason to use Listerine
I get frequent tonsilitis/strep throat (I blame my mother for not letting the doc take them when I was 13).

Anyway, if I feel my glands getting swollen, I start using Listerine to gargle with. Works very well I must say.

I'd rather have that nasty taste in my mouth for a few minutes than have a sore throat for several days.

14. They certainly should!
I nearly always cut mine with water just a bit so I don't die while gargling!

It still works well, but without taking my breath away......

And boy oh boy, the stuff works well, even when it is diluted....

:hi:
