As a kid who grew up six blocks from Connie Mack Stadium do you think I'd let her get away with just buying me a meal? I have posters of Mike Schmidt in my garage, my one and only hero.
I would probably be tombstoned if I told you the real wager.
She could not possibly care less which team she gets or what the bet is but we have a good time with it. We're occasionally like 50 year old teenagers. Dinner and a movie and who picks up the check based on the score of a football game! (and the money all comes from the same pot). I guess our(my) brain(s) are(is) rotted with love. I love her more than words can say, so I won't even try. Its fun.
