I thought we were grownups here, people who know that just because it is in print does NOT mean it is true!
Clay Aiken ACCIDENTLY ran over his kitten as a teenager and has felt haunted by this act to affect the total fear of cats. He is an animal lover and used to take care of his pet goat, taking it everywhere and now has a pet dog. He loves dogs. Triumph the dog is a toy dog with a man's hand up it's butt. The man is Smigel, the head writer of Conan. Conan has been running a bunch of homophobic jokes with Clay Aiken as the joke for over a month, every night. So Triumph, who has an album coming out, takes this ad to PETA and they both go with it because this guy has good name recognition and devoted fans. Wow, if it was not for Michael Jackson, it would be a good, albeit false, scandal!
Let's talk about PETA. Like less than 1% of the donations make it to help animals. Most is spent on lavish waterfront offices, nice salaries and parties and publicity stunts and "education" or as I would call it, lies. They have funded ALF and ELF, the arsonist home grown terrorists and are supported with our tax dollars. What good works do they do, let's see, they go to dog shows and release dogs from cages, so they can run in the street and get run over. They free turkeys from turkey farms, you know what happens with food turkeys and the rain, right? They drown because they don't know enough to shut their mouths. Yes, there are horrible things that happen to animals, but why not give money to a charity that might actually help animals rather than just themselves.
Right now, Triumph is blaming PETA for this whole thing because people have complained to NBC and PETA is blaming the toy dog for coming to them with the ad. PETA say they will drop this ad (well now that it has received national play, they don't need it any more) if Clay will put a link on his business site and if he gives them a special interview, supports their site and apologiezes for hating cats. Can you spell blackmail?
I have hated this phony organization for years, now I feel empowered because I can play with Aiken's fans, and they are scary and numerous and powerful(willing to put their wallets behind everything they do). 4 companies have broken connections with PETA and will never support them again.
