Does anybody here remember Brandi Swindell?

She's a Boise local who was one of the more vocal protesters to removing Terri Schiavo's feeding tube. She also spearheaded a campaign to prevent the Ten Commandments being removed from a Boise public park (she didn't win that one).

She's running for Boise City Council. Yesterday, I received a phone call from some "political survey" group regarding that race.

"In the upcoming city council election, would you support incumbent Maryanne Jordan or her opponent, Brandi Swindell?"

I laughed at the guy. "I wouldn't support Brandi Swindell if she were running against the devil himself."

"Okay, ma'am, and would you consider yourself primarily a Republican, a Democrat, or an Independent?"

A Democrat, man, a Democrat!

What's really funny is that I'm not eligible to vote for Boise City Council. I don't live in Boise proper.

I was in a Target in Spokane a few months ago and saw a few scary guys with Hitler mustaches and camouflage. I heard them talking about living in Idaho. :scared:

Of course, all racists are scary, but those Idaho guys were the first actual Nazi wannabes that I've seen with my own eyes.
