dog cookies -- haa haa haa

recently my sunday morning routine has included making up a few dozen dog cookies for our 3 dogs

this morning my partner took the dogs outside to do their business. When they come in and if they did their business - they get a treat

the cookies I made this morning hadn't cooled down yet - so my partner grabs a couple of store-bought treats from the pantry.

our airedale (dax) takes the store-bought treat, spits it out and comes over to where I'm rolling out the dough for the next batch of cookies...

recipe:

ingredients
2 tablespoon corn oil
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup water
1 cup wheat flour
2 cups white flour

first mix corn oil, peanut butter and water together.
next add flour 1 cup at time - mix/knead in between cups of flour

roll it out to about 1/4-inch thick and cut it out with a cookie cutter (if you don't have a cookie cutter - use a juice glass or just cut it into squares/strips -- dogs don't care what the shape is)

bake at 350-deg for 20 minutes
recipe says it makes 2 1/2 doz
