Philosophy: Is moderation in ALL things good?
In other words, should every action be done in moderation, or are there things that should be done to one extreme or the other?

Peace,

1. I opened up a Fortune Cookie not one minute ago and it said:
"Sometimes the best choice is to choose all options."

6. It was really dumb
Just a little dumber than what I have up there now. Be glad there's no magical "un-edit" moderator wand you can wave over it. :P

11. Oh come on!
You were talking about moderators, weren't you?

Anyone in particular?

8. Negatory.
Sure, moderation can be a good, even great thing. It's good to remember that it's not always the best approach in direct service.

We need to decide what things we can do and approach them bravely.

I do what I can for Amnesty
because torture in moderation is still torture.

I am a veg*n
because lives lost in moderation are still lost.

I spend every single day reading with little kids
because moderation in this effort is still illiteracy.

I support the ACLU
because a moderate loss of liberties is still a loss of liberties.

I'm an extremist? That's okay with me. I make the calls that I make and work toward the goals that I define. All good.

9. Moderation in all things implies an obssessive consistency
about all things and that is evil.
