3. I would probably consider it...
A friend of mine has had only one kidney for most of his life and hasn't had any medical problems because of it.

7. No, I'd give it for free, if somebody needed it.
That's just wrong. But, then again, I can't give any organs away. :hi:

11. No. That is absurd. If I thought that way, then I would
just give one away. I mean, a lot of people need a kidney.

12. Sure, but not my own
Human body is pretty well evolved. It only does redundancy when it really is worthwhile. Survival is tuff enough without rolling the dice unnecissarily.

13. I have a child
I have to stay healthy for her. And what if she someday needed a kidney and I didn't have a second one anymore?

14. I would donate a kidney to a loved one
Hopefully, they would be able to pay the medical expenses since I'd be hard pressed to do so.

I wouldn't just barter the thing to the highest bidder, however.

16. What?! Fuck no. I'd give it away.
ehealthforums - people are selling kidneys? As cynical as I am, I'll still have to see that with my own eyes.
