sucks the will to live out of your body as you deal with freeper, idiots and imbeciles, and deadlines, inane task, and impossible goals set by others for you...

Me, I just get grumpy whenever I want....

5. Just grumpy at the moment of waking
This morning was particularly fun. I got to bed late last night (5:00am). So when my SO woke up at about 5:20 and started running around because she had a bunch of holloween ideas there were a few pillows flung.

Once I am up though, I am anyware from depressed to chipper. But I don't really do grumpy.

6. By default I am grumpy neither by morning nor by day
I am only grumpy once something has happened that is worth getting grumpy about. :hi:

7. Have you ever worked with someone who is grumpy
all the time......

Combined with my personality, it has been like mixing water and oil...

Which is why, of course, I work at home

10. I did once work for an utter asshole (haven't we all).
I think that was the closest thing I have experienced. It sucked.

14. I am definitely cheerier in the morning........
I tend to wake up happy......

And then as the day goes forward.....I refuse to say progresses...

I gradually find myself less and less cheerful...

UNLESS something really good happens to reverse my downward slide....

Not always, of course....... :hi:

15. I am not a morning person. I don't speak really
until I've been up for about 45 minutes. My husband just says good morning and lets me be for a little while. I don't know why I wake up grumpy. It is the same when I take a nap. I wake up pissy for some reason. I am definitely not one of those chipper morning people.

until I hit traffic.

FTMP I'm with you -- I wait until have to take a bite of the day's first shit sandwich to turn into a raving shrew.

Edited on Tue Oct-25-05 09:42 AM by MarsThe Cat
(dead seriously)
but after that i'm usually pretty cool...until it's about time for the afternoon dosing...and 40 mg or so of flexeril usually gets me through the evening.

20. If your statement was made in truth
You may want to look into suboxone. In case you haven't heard of it.:hi:

23. It's made in total truth- it's for chronic pain.
i've been taking it for at least 5 years.
i used to take pigboy's recreational drug of choice- oxycontin, back whenit was the 'new' thing. i found out for myself(and rather quickly) that chewing those pups was the way to go.
BUT-
when you become permanently disabled, a private health insurance company will do all it can to drop you like a hot potato- and that's what happened to me, when we were one day late with the payment one month, after they started playing the "continually change the due date" game.
my doctor was VERY sympathetic, and switched me to methadone- which is WAAAAAAAY cheaper, and is usually extremely effective for me...and my dosage has remained fairly constant over the past coupla years.

But thanks for the heads up- i'll look into suboxone...i have insurance again now, with prescription coverage, so maybe it's time to trade-up on the medication.

waiting until something happens to require it is just way too much work. You have to plan ahead...
