Poll question: City with the best Italian Food?
Great stuff in Boston (where I grew up), and San Francisco but NYC has the best IMHO.

4. Smaller city: New Haven, Conn.
though almost any New England city in that size range, say, Providence or Worcester, would be a close runner-up.

5. I'd agree, even Wallingford CT maybe.
I grew up in South Philly but... food is better in that corner of CT...

6.  The 'burgh.
Abruzzi on the South Side, just moved into the Holiday Inn down the block on 10th Street. Linguini's in Pleasant Hills across the lot from Home Depot. Primadonna on Broadway in McKees Rocks.
