Milk Duds Sues Nursing Mom Clothing Line Milkdudz

HERSHEY, Pa. -- The Hershey Company said the name is too familiar.

Hershey makes Milk Duds -- spelled D-U-D-S -- the chocolate covered caramel.

But there's a California company that sells clothing for nursing mothers under the name of Milkdudz -- spelled as one word and ending in D-U-D-Z.

The Patriot-News newspaper said Hershey's has complained to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

A co-founder of the clothing company said they're confident they'll win as long as they don't have to spend a bundle on endless appeals. Kiersten Wall said it's not like their products will be next to Hershey's in the candy aisle.

Hershey's isn't commenting.
