To go to the party, or not to go to the party....
My girlfriend Becky always does her house up in grand style for Halloween. I've never seen it. She's invited me to see it this year, and I'd like to go.

Thing is, she's also invited Jay. For those who don't remember Jay, he was the guy I had started to see this spring, only to have him disappear on me. I'd call or send an email and all I ever got back from him (if anything) was that he was really busy. Truth was, he was seeing someone else. Now, while it's bad enough to have someone treat you that way, remember that this someone had been a FRIEND to me for about 5 years.

Anyway, Jay hasn't been spending much time w/ our friend Becky these days, but there's the off chance that he'll be there, and my guess is that if he does show, he'll bring this woman that he dumped me for.

I don't want to run into him, but I want to see Becky's house (and Becky too, of course).

Should I go? Should I wear a costume?

2. Go and look so damn good that he can't stand it!!
Most of all, just go and have fun. Don't let his presence dictate what you decide to do.

3. I think you should go if you want to
Don't let people you want to avoid stop you from doing what you want to do. This is my new approach as I have gotten older.

I'd wear a costume, but then I love Halloween and all it entails.

4. Go...don't let him get in your way...
and be polite...if he is there...be the better person..

But make sure you wear a costume that makes you look absolutely fabulous...no ghost or ghoulish stuff.....rent something spectacular or buy something ...
