Poll question: Best Areosmith Album/CD?
I'm listing most of their old stuff due to my opinion that they sold-out during the 90's.
They used to ROCK when they were on the drugs, but mellowed out considerably after that era.

My fave is "Get Your Wings".

1. I like their live album "Live Bootleg"
I've never seen them live but this CD rocks. I also like "Toys in the Attic" and "Rocks"

2. Toy in the Attic
I liked all their albums up until Pump for the most part. I picked Toys because it is one of those albums that we played a lot at a certain time in my life. I have the Quadraphonic version of it..lol.

5. Why is anything after "Night In The Ruts" even on the poll?

Actually, "Done With Mirrors" was a great album. Not their best, but it was a promising comeback. Unlike all the CRAP that followed it. And Rock In a Hard Place was a Steven Tyler solo album, or might as well have been.

And for the record, "Toys In The Attic" is the best.

6. I never really cared for them much.
Although I do think they are very good at what they do.

8. I met Joe Perry at his uncles music store in Lawrence MA. 1971.
He's from a couple of towns over in North Reading. Consentino's Music.
I even helped Aerosmith set up some equipment at a dance in 1972, Canobie Lake Park in Salem NH. I was just a 15 year old kids hanging around the back entrance to the ballroom, when this dude came out and asked me if I'd help carry the bands shit in. I got to meet them all for a couple of minutes or so. Perry and the rest of the band were pretty cool. Tyler was a ranting, controlling asshole.

Did you know that Joe's real last name is Pereira?

9. I may have read that somewhere.
I first saw them play at a BU outdoor lunchtime concert in 1970. I thought, "They're pretty good, but who's that little brat trying to be Mick Jagger?"

I had another girlfriend who hung out with Joe during that era. They all lived in a big apartment in Allston, I think, and were doing a LOT of drugs.
