1. Clinton, Gore
I was 19 in 1996; would've voted for Clinton in '92 had I been old enough...I was one of two people to vote for Clinton in the mock election held in my HS US history class that year.

As much as I liked Carter, I voted for Ford since my family did and he's the only Republican president I ever liked. I learned my lesson and voted for Carter the second time and have voted for whomever has been the Democratic nominee ever since. It speaks well for Ford that he and Carter have become good friends and Ford has sometimes helped Carter with his good works.:-)

I turned 18 a little over a month before the General election in 1988. The best part was getting to vote in the primary at 17. Don't know about other states but in Texas if you're going to be 18 by the General election then you're eligible to vote in the primary. It rocked.

Voted teh same as you too - Dukakis, Clinton. Clinton, Gore. Hell, I even voted for Gore in the 1988 primary though he had officially dropped out of th erace at that point.

I'm chomping at the bit to vote Dem for the first time. The last president I liked before losing my youthful idealism was Ronald Reagan and now I can't stand him. The rest were just "me too" votes so I would get along with family.

Unfortunately, the time has come to split with family and do what's right. I'll vote for WHOMEVER is Bush's opponent. That guy and his staff make me sick.

You know, I think I may have voted for David Duchovny once, but it wasn't in the presidential spot.

Mondale, Dukakis, Clinton, Clinton, Gore. Should have voted for Carter in 1980 (was the first presidential election I was old enough for), but for some reason, I was too much of a spud to vote that year. I've rarely missed an election, even for dogcatcher, since.

Although I voted sometimes for other candidates in primaries.

1980 was the only time I threw my vote away on a third party. I was so bitterly disappointed in Carter, but there was no way I was voting for that empty suit that Nancy was propping up. Bush, Sr. was another bitter disappointment to me.

I'd never thought about it before, but the Big Dog is the first one I've voted for twice.
