I'm going to go for a run
And I have the feeling I'm going to be slow. x( Usually I am pretty glacial anyways (10K in about 48+ mins) but today I'm really feeling like a anthropomorphic gastropod.

1. Oh my! That sounds like a good idea.
Do you ever do any trail running? That's my favorite.

6. I used to do cross country in high school
Now I just do the streets and trails by my house in the city. I'm about half a mile from the Mississippi, so I just run down there and go south and back north along the river on the paths and trails there.

2. You have more motivation than I.

Except for going to see "Capote" later this afternoon, I haven't done a damned thing. I've been such a anthropomorphic gastropod today.

4. Funny you should say that, since this is meant to motivate me
I'd feel pretty ashamed seeing this up here if I did not in fact run; all my DU friends being deceived and lied to. Also I want attention. :P

I forgot, are you doing the raw food thing or not? Anyway, I just had the best portabello sandwich I've ever had--it did have goat cheese, though. I could never get by with anything but lacto-ovo vegetarianism. I love cheese and dairy too much. You continue my streak of knowing only non-self-righteous vegans, though. :D

7. I broke the diet for a week, but I'm back on it.
Four weeks, one of them meat-eatin'. I feel okay.

All right, all right: I'm fucking hungry. I admit it. I want a giagntic plate of steak fajitas right now more than anything in this world.

I'm not a big fan of dairy. In my normal diet, I pretty much went without cheese and milk already. Fried foods were my weakness; I think I may have had an onion ring fetish (hey, it's a hole, right?).

8. I fucking love fried food
It's terrible for you, but damn! Good vegetable (or shrimp) pakora always hits the spot.

9. I just got back from the gym. I'm toast.
After running the treadmill and lifting weights, I decided to try my hand at the ellipticals. Withing 45 seconds I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I have a long way to go.

10. It's good, though, to keep cardio fresh and not boring or tedious
For that reason, I'm excited for the X-country ski season to start. :D

11. every year I mean to try CC skiing
and every year there is too little snow, at least the last few. I even have my sister-in-laws CC skis that she left here.

I have used my snowshoes, though. Those are cool. Hope you have/had a nice run JP.
