Happy 75th birthday Mickey Mouse!

75 years ago today a cartoon mouse who would become an icon in America, and the world, Steamboat Willie, was introduced. Willie, of course, was really Mickey Mouse. His look has changed over the years, but he is still rolling along. So once again, happy anniversary to Mickey Mouse and here's hoping that you have many more.

1. I would be happy

except that the Disney Corporation bribed congress into continually extending Mickey's copyright...so even after 75 years he still isn't public domain.

3. Yes, poor little Mickey is the corporate logo for Disney

but truthfully, I didn't think anyone would take all of this that seriously. And besides, every company out there has a logo. Mickey Mouse is closely associated with Disney so he is their "corporate spokesmouse"
