Is Marc Maron leaving Air America?

I saw that little tidbit on a different message board. I haven't been able to find anything on other searches. My schedule's changed a bit in the last few weeks so I don't hear Morning Sedition all that often anymore--but I will miss Marc if he shoves off.

Sounds like he was or (still is?) in contract negotiations and wants to live with his wife in Los Angeles, instead of her moving to NY. The whole bicoastal thing must really be a drag to be so far away from your mate.

he will not be there 'in the same capacity'. I don't know what that means, but it sounds like he's leaving or being cut.

He's looking for homes for his cats. :shrug:

3. I love that show....

I was madder 'n a wet hen when they put Stephanie Miller in his old time slot and moved him to 3-6 am out here in CA. I'm still mad about it. His show is as funny (but smarter) as Steph's but with a lot more substance. I get real tired of hearing about what O'Really or O'Hannity or Ol' Limpballs said. That's practically all Miller and company do.

I've been known to turn on Marc and Mark in the middle of the night. Wait a minute, what did I just say???

Maybe he'll get a new show out here. YES? YES?

4. I like listening to them- here its 5-8am

and it won't be the same without Marc Maron. Stephanie Miller is the only one on Air America I just can't take, even in small doses. She's silly and repetitive.

5. Damn, I sure hope they get him a show, although I love the chemistry he

has with Mark Riley. I've never heard Stephanie MIller so I'm not sure anout her.

I usually listen on XM but I suppose I could o with the local affiliate (provided I get one or two miles closer to downtown!)

you know you can download ITunes, and podcast it even if you dont have an ipod. The podcast listed on ITunes is really fast to download too.

Over here in SF, KQKE replaced Marc's show with Jerry Springer. :eyes:

I think she's hysterically wonderful.

Maron, on the other hand....not so much. The show is like early middle aged frat boy humor.
