3. Most of the globe is covered

down to about 2000 feet per inch....I agree though I do wish they would post more hi-res coverage.

6. I just found the house in Maryland I grew up in!

And I'm looking at the roof my dorm right now! There's a garden on the roof, so at this resolution, the small colored blobs look like cars. At first I couldn't find the building because it lloked like a parking lot. Unfortunately, my parent's house is in a region that doesn't zoom that far. I wanted to see if they moved my car out of the sun. x(

Hint: Set the zoom about halfway. You will see 2 bridge/tunnels on either side of the bay. The one to the east goes by the Hampton Roads Naval base. Center on and zoom in on the southern terminus of the bridge and pan left or west. You'll see the piers. There is 2 A/C Carriers next to each other.

check out googlesightseeing.com.....they have all sorts of categories grouped....planes in flight, weird marks in the desert, ships....
