Well, "Commander in Chief" is a pretty good show.
There aren't too many programs I will actually try to catch every week. Actually, now, this is the only show.

Donald Sutherland is great in it.

2. Me too.
I usually hate prime time but I had to make exceptions for Davis and Sutherland. I really like the show. ;)

4. He's a pretty devious shit, that's for sure.
And he plays the part well.

13. That closing argument for the fallen soldier was great!
That would be great to get a video clip of.

7. Did you see the actress playing Donald Sutherland's wife?
I recognized her right away. Went to confirm at IMDB. Samantha Eggar. I specifically recognized her from a TV commercial from the 70s or 80s....maybe one of you will recall....I think it was a commercial for TVs. And she said something like, "My hair is auburn, my eyes are green, my lips are red."

Funny how that specific thing comes back decades later....lol.

I'm female BTW, though I always thought she was beautiful. She was extraordinarily beautiful 25 years ago or so.

8. did you notice that when they were at the
hurricane shelter, when was reading a book to children, her chief of staff whispered in her ear about the oil tanker... She immediately said "okay, would someone like to finish this for me?" It struck me as a contrast to * sitting in the classroom clueless on 911

9. He is cool in person...
Donald Sutherland, that is, Tom Cruise is a short prick. They did a movie about Steve Prefontaine. I met both.. Tom Cruise as a short little fuck. Fucking prick..

10. Is Tom Cruise a prick because he is short, or do you have other reasons?

11. His personality is foul..
Edited on Tue Nov-01-05 10:45 PM by Omphaloskepsis
He talked down to everyone that wasn't in his crew.. Really, all of us 4.75 per hour monkeys wanted to slap him. He was screaming about his seat in the theater. Dude, I can't afford food, do you think I decide where you sit?

The entire thing was a joke.
