GOD! FUCKERS! Maybe I should create a comic book series based on the premise of "what if chickenhawk conservatives were in charge on September 11, 2001." It'll go something like this:

Issue 1: It is 2005. America is under the oppression of a right-wing extremist government. Aided and abetted by a complicit media, they have successfully brainwashed half the country into re-electing a president provably guilty of multiple crimes. Among them: allowing America to be attacked by Islamic terrorists (gross neglect), resulting in the loss of 3000+ lives, failure to capture the mastermind behind the attack, and then lying the nation into a war with a country with no connection whatsoever with the fatal attack, and action resulting in the deaths of 2000 US soldiers and countless Iraqi civilians, and revealing the identity of a covert CIA operative, thus damaging the USA's national security.

The repressive USA PATRIOT Act of 2001 has forced liberal activists out of sight, where they coalesce around an organization known as Democratic Underground, or "DU." Utilizing their armies of Freepatrons, the US government announces a crusade to hunt down and destroy the elusive DUers, who are determined to continue the fight to restore their nation...

OK, so I took a few creative liberties, but doesn't it seem like we're living in a bad cartoon sometimes?
