(not asking med advice just ranting here)

Got a horrible pinched nerve in my back/neck area and my right arm/fingers are all tingly and my neck is sore and hurts to the touch. OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.

Cant see chiro until monday so I'm having a GOOD WEEKEND.

It does suck.. having to tote around a 3 mo old isnt helping either!! /end of pity :)

I have three bulging disks my neck and am having lots of problems. Not fun. Hope you can get some relief soon. :)

ONE hurts like hell.. I couldnt imagine 3! Are they doing anything for yours or are they like with mine just let it go until it slips?

And I'm getting another on Nov. 21 (not that I'm counting the days or anything...).

My main problem is between C-6/7, which is compressing my median nerve in my left arm. It's causing a lot of weakness, pain, you name it. I have two to a lesser extent at C-2/3 and C-3/4.

Surgery is an option at some point, but I'm trying to stick with physical therapy and hope for the best.

I had nerve blocks placed all over my back and I think they wore orr - has been about 11 years now. I got mine from being thrown off of a horse I was training and I landed on my head and flat on my back. I'm lucky to be here because the helmet cracked in two pieces. Thats how hard he threw me.

PT really helped me when I first got injured.. I'm thinking of asking my doc to send me for my back again. Hes too anxious to prescribe me muscle relaxers and since hes a DO he'll adjust my back. Too bad it goes right back out that same day.

Does the epidural hurt? and most importantly does it work? I had epidurals during the births of my 3 kids and it hurt so bad until the medication kicked in. I dont know if they're similiar.

The epidurals aren't a lot of fun; they do hurt but it's over pretty quickly. There's a bit of discomfort for a couple of days but then a blissful few weeks of greatly reduced pain and inflammation. I can only get four a year from my dr. so I don't know what I'll do after that...

I've had craniosacral work and other types of body work too, but like you, it doesn't even really last a full day.

No wonder people say something's a "pain in the neck" when it's really annoying. x(
