I am so grateful!
We are holding elections for city officials on Tuesday, and in my precinct, 4 school board seats and one at large council seat is up. The at large seat is being run for by a rethug nutbag, and a non-partisan type. The non partisan person has backing of all three parties and many people within the community.

The four school board seats are being campaigned for by 5 people. Four of whom are incumbants. The incumbants, although they may not be progressives, they are not fundie nutbags. The fifth person, ran last time, and came off almost as crazy as the fundie nutbag on Trading Spouses!

:woohoo:

1. I'm grateful too-- SO LONG RANDY KELLY!!!
This will be the first election I vote in as a St Paul resident, and I will be PROUD to cast my vote against Randy Kelly, the DFL mayor and Norm Coleman acolyte who endorsed Dubya in 2004!!!

He's so behind in the polls right now that not even a miracle performed by Jeebus hisself can save him.

Buh-bye Randy!

4. I got a free lunch tomorrow.
Suckered a coworker from Florida into a straight-up bet on his Panthers vs. my Canes.
