11. I completely agree
I thought the Seahawks dramatically improved their helmet from the early expansion version, and also the base color scheme. On the road it's very classy but overdone at home.

9. In the pros I was predictably disgusted with the Texans unis
In design, anything contemporary is overdone and lousy. That's a base generality that seldom lets me down. A logo is something that should be remarkably simple, and sketchable in maybe 5 seconds. I've never even bothered to look at the Texans' logo closely because of so many moving parts.

Special mention to the home uniforms of the Oregon Ducks. Not a pro team but wonderfully hideous.

14. Yeah, I noticed that
I thought the old Hawaii color scheme was fine, including the green helmet with the rainbow. I doubletaked when I saw them for the first time this year.

13. Do NOT diss the Giants or Colts uniforms
they are traditional - a link with the days of Frank Gifford and John Unitas.

BTW, you forgot the Bucs "Burnt Orange".

15. There's a story behind the Steeler's one-sided helmets.
snip
In 1962, Republic Steel, located in Cleveland (ack! ptooi!) suggested to Steelers owner Art Rooney that they place the "steel" logo on their helmets....However, when the logos arrived, Steelers management wasn't sure how they looked on an all gold helmet. So equipment manager Jack Hart was told to place the emblems on only one side, so as to minimize the graphic impact of the design--half of the helmet would look like it always did. As it happened, that season the Steelers posted their best record, 9-5, finishing second in the Eastern Conference and earning a playoff berth, the first ever for Rooney's squad. Because of this, and because the one-sided helmet was unique among NFL teams, the design stuck.

18. New England Patriots. I hate the Elvis Minuteman.
I loved the old red white and blue with the squatting Minuteman instead.
I hope that they go back to those old uni's.

25. The Postal team
that is what I call them in those new uniforms. I like them don't get me wrong but the unis ....not so much. Of course in the old uniforms every time they got near the Super Bowl the whole team erupted from cocaine use.....so then there is that.

21. I really can't decide...
... though Lions, Titans, and Seachickens certainly need to be up there. Of the choices present, I'm leaning towards Buffalo. I actually like the team and the colors aren't bad... they just need to try something different. :)
