6. We've actually already scored a dozen tix for the day after it opens
My soon-to-be 12 yr old son is celebrating his bd by taking a bunch of his friends to see it, so we got tix in advance. Should be fun!

7. I love HP and I'm 47.
I not only have all the books in hardback but also have all British versions in hardback as well as all the movies. I have doubts about the GOF movie. Way to much book in oh so little time on screen. GOF is my favorite of the books so we will see what this new director will do with it.

15. I feel so dirty
agreeing with ya.

I remember watching the previews for the previous one with some friends and we all noticed that she had hit puberty.

She looks pretty good in the next one.

10. Didn't SNL do a sketch about that?
Hermoine came back to school after summer break, all..."developed"?

19. If they did, I wouldn't know. I haven't tuned in to SNL, much less NBC,
for YEARS.

Besides, with our population, it's just feasable that somebody out there might have a mind as sick as the writers of a comedy show on its last legs... though I'll admit even I am funnier more often than they are...

22. Yup! it was Lindsay Lohan as Hermione
quite funny. she played it straight, not knowing why all the boys were suddenly interested in her.

13. But shouldn't the actor age as does Harry?
wait, in the novels, in Harry's 4 year wasn't he like 14 or something? It would make sense to have an actor playing the part going through puberty wouldn't it? I mean you wouldn't want an 11 year old looking actor playing what should be a 14 year old would you? It would seem somewhat off I would think

14. Actually, in the first book he is 10...
and the actor that played him in the first movie was 10 or so, and the sequencial books coincide with each year at the school, give or take. So has the production schedule for the movies, off by 6 months or so.

16. Well, he turns 11 before he goes to Hogwarts
Harry's birthday is in July, so he turns 11 right before first year, 12 before second year, etc.

I think it is my favorite HP movie so far. Lots of action, and Hermione has grown up quite nicely.
