Cleveland DU meetup pics-from tonight!

The meetup was great!
We didn't declare a winner in the chili cookoff, because they really were all good. OzarkDem made an excellent mild chili with black olives, Hedges made his spicy hot chili which was also excellent, and I made my Hannibal Lechter's chili, which everybody liked too. So we all were winners. In addition, the BeastPeople made veggie pizza that was really good too.

I heard the chili was great!

We ate like kings and queens tonight.

There are so many DUers I would still like to get to know. I'll just keep on traveling around to meet-ups. I'm sorry I missed you and TheProphetess while we were all down in DC.

We'll catch up sometime I'm sure though.

I love seeing the great faces behind the great people at DU!

Once again it was a pleasure hanging with the Northeast Ohio crowd and I got to meet a few new ones too.

The food was great.

My SO said to check out the Cleveland meetup thread. I didn't even notice who posted it. I was just looking at the photos when you and TheProphetess came into view. What a nice suprise! :thumbsup:

Wish I could have brought it myself (and sampled some chili!), but oh well. :(

unfortunately Cleveland is too far a trip and back for me to do more than every so often. How are ya?

Especially when the meetup is late in the day. We love to go to Pittsburgh, though - one of our good friends lives there (the person that introduced us!).

Things are going well, although work is terribly busy. I haven't spent much time online lately. Seeing everyone last night made me want to sign on today and spend some time around DU. I should be grading essay tests but I won't tell if you won't. :)

and trainings for my license, so I really haven't been around much either. I attended a really fascinating developmental disorders training, with an interesting neuropsych slant, two weeks ago. Got some new books, one on Conduct Disorder. You know you are in trouble when you are excited about a book on Conduct Disorder!

And I'm attending a social skills training seminar on Wed. Keeps the brain moving and makes me ask a lot of good questions about how I see things.

I should be writing now, but.... I won't tell!

I thought to myself "cool, a book on Conduct Disorder" before I saw your next sentence: You know you are in trouble when you are excited about a book on Conduct Disorder!

LOL! I just got a new book on relational aggression that I'm looking forward to reading over the holiday break. Ok, it's now clear that I'm a geek...:)

I have also been known to sit and read that seminal book/longitudinal study about divorce at my son's soccer games. I get funny looks.
