Is it normal to have a chigger bite that itches
like, 4 and a half years later?

I got it in the summer of 2001.

Why does it itch maddeningly tonight?

Anyone?

2. Are you sure it was chiggers
and not a tick bite. If a tick head gets let in it can itch a heck of a long time.

6. When I was about 12 or 13
I pulled a tick from my leg (back of my knee). The head was inbedded and made a hard knot which itched for a couple of years, at least.

But it was a large enough that I could see that it was a tick.

8. It's got a raised scar
but I can't see that it's a tick head.

And it doesn't itch all the time, just sometimes.

7. I heard that
if you put clear nail polish on it, it will smother the chigger. Just sayin'...
