55. Oh yes, that's my "library"

Half our basement is a finished room, and it's MY room. I have some bookcases dividing the room in half (the other half has exercise equipment in it), and then others that go around parts of two other walls. I feel positively nekkid without my books!

thus I will spare you the horror of seeing a picture of my visage. I do not do the photobucket thing, and also do not keep pictures of myself around. When the newspaper asked for a photo, I had to hold my digital camera at arms length. It made for a strange photo which also had the unfortunate feature that it looked like me.

and now that icons are back, I do look a little bit like my icon, or so I have been told. Except I no longer wear my hair that long - too much social stigma. I let Pam at the eyeglasses place pick frames for me, figuring I could trust the taste of a beautiful woman, and she got round frames for me just so I would look more like Lennon. Right after that one of the nineteen year old saxaphones players was giggling about how much I looked like Lennon. Thanks alot Pam.

all bad. I was in Frankfurt just four years ago. I am sure I could get another plane ticket ;-) but the exchange rates are not nearly as good after four years of the Bush economy. A sexy dude? It's been coooooold in Seattle, and wet, though today it didn't rain. The trees have lost most of their leaves (I can't find my back patio, it's so covered with dead leaves!). The sky is often gunmetal grey, but I really love this time of year. Actually, I like each change of season -- they all have an appeal to me. I hope you and Mr. R-D will make it up here sometime for a baseball game, and some touristing! :pals:

it won't be straight on, but should eliminate the glare. Also, try putting a single thickness of white cloth (like a handkerchief or even paper towel) over the flash to soften the light. Good looking family. Your husband has the grin of a man who realizes just how good he has it. :) Thanks!
