7. Thanks.
Are you threatening me with a spanking? You've been spending too much time with southlandshari, SeattleGirl, Heidi and those other wild Nighthawk women. ;)

13. you know the German word for that is "Besoffene Äpfel"
apples drowned in Calvados. Except the drunken apples I ate were drowned in white wine .... and I tell ya, that desert was just the pure sin

14. I know it
but never had it really. I do remember other sweet goodies (all kinds of fruits) though that were soaked in some liquor. And if you already had something to drink before and felt quite good - these desserts just kick in hard. ;)

Almost every place tends to be beautiful in the fall. Heidi tells me Florida is pretty nice too.

11. I once did
an apprenticeship as a photographer and went to art school, but I don't do photography much anymore. Hopefully, I haven't forgotten everything I learned.

It's really appreciated. The scenery is quite nice and calm, I have to admit, but the construction work all around here has unbelievable increased since I live here.

25. They're all over the place here.

However they grow like weed in the climate, they're not native but imported from Marocco at the end of the 18th Century. To please the tourists.

29. Thanks
it's a pretty place after all. I was growing up in Zurich (the biggest city) and when I first moved here, I had to adapt to the silence at nights. Well, some foxes barking or martens mating, but that's nothing.

But it's still very, very rural.

quite nice, the landscape and the green is gorgeous. The lack of public transportation and infrastructure is not, but I guess you can't have anything.
