Yoko calls truce with McCartney....
Yoko Ono has called a truce in her war of words with Sir Paul McCartney.

Yoko tells Orange Playlist on ITV1 that she has no problem with the former Beatle.

She said: "I think our relationship is very good now. I'm sure that the next time we see each other it'll be fine.

"I respect Paul and he respects me for being John's wife."

Am I the only one who doesn't give a rat's ass about Yoko?

I thought that was stupid too!! I guess he doesn't respect her for being Yoko, and is it me or has she really run being his wife into the mud? I guess some just can't move on EVER!!

14. I think it might be more along the lines of "he respects me AS John's wife
as in, maybe at first the other Beatles didn't see her as legitimate, or her relationship with John...

Maybe that's what she meant.

He gives her the respect of John's wife, not just as Yoko Ono...

could be...

that's how I interpreted it.

11. Yoko didn't break up the Beatles.
But that doesn't mean I have to like her and how she's managed the Lennon estate.

15. Yes exactly.
She's a prime example of getting ahead in the world not by talent but by connections.
