Any other Desperate Housewives fans think this season sucks so far?

Last year it was dark and funny. This year it is just stupid.

And the worst mistake they are making is...they hired the amazing Alfre Woodard...PUT HER ON CAMERA for goddess' sake!!! I love her!

Is anyone with me?

I've lost interest. It's also because of West Wing moving to Sundays - I just can't watch two hours of TV a night. :shrug:

not much happened with it yet. This guy was on camera maybe 3 times. Not sure what is going on with him?

I still turn it on, but I'm no longer glued to the TV. I've found myself wandering away in search of other entertainment about halfway in. :(

I posted a couple of weeks ago about how wretched I found the storylines this season. Desperate Housewives is now Republican TV. Working women are to be denigrated and humiliated. Female co-workers are bitches from hell.
Sure. I know it's satire. But there is a strong streak of chauvinism ruining the show.
And it didn't help when I pointed out that creator Marc Cherry has contributed to the Republicans.
This was widely reported when the show became a hit. Gay Republican creates hit show.
Well, the conservative need to deride women has come into full force this season.
The women are no longer funny.
They're shrill and pathetic.

7. I haven't seen any of this season.

I loved last season, but since I don't watch much network TV I missed the announcements that it was starting, and then I forgot to put it on my Season Pass, and now, I'm just kind of meh about the whole thing. I read recaps and it looks like it's slipped.
