What are you listening to today?
I've been in an Abba mood, with some Queen because I'm happy about yesterday. Had to hear "We Are The Champions."

3. I listened to the latest BBC evensong
from St. James Royal Chapel and surprisingly was AWFUL. If you want a good laugh, go there (www.bbc.com) and listen. Most of the pieces sound like cats screaming. Some of them sound like a bunch of guys in drag all screaming at each other.

The hymn was nice, though.

4. Clifford Brown and Kenny Burrell. Later, the silence of my home.
That's when my wife comes home and she appreciates the sounds of the spheres after a hard day of being mental at work.

6. Abba, huh?
Well, you are a mod, so I guess that you don't need the flame-proof longjohns.

Personally, I do rather like Abba's "Winner Takes It All".

I have a six-pack going:
Roxette: "Dangerous";
Roxette: "Fading Like a Flower";
Rolling Stones: "Sympathy for the Devil";
Mazzy Star: "Fade into You";
Gin Blossoms: "Follow You Down";
Jean Ritchie: "The Soldier".

"They say that the war's nearly won,
And declare there's a change in the wind,
And my feet stumble on,
And the year's come and gone,
And they say that the war's nearly won."

:-)

They have a large audience that likes them, including a noticeable group at DU. I really think they are Hall Of Fame worthy - just masters. One of my very faves.

7. Downloaded AC/DC's "Sin City"
Takes me back. I remember seeing them the first time on the best fuckin' installment of "midnight Special" w/golden Earring, Cheap Trick and yes, Ted Nugent.

That show usually sucked.
