If my MLIS application deadline is Feb 1 - when should I take the GRE?

I just bought the test prep book today - how long should I prep before the test; and how long will it take between taking it and when I can get the official results to the university?

Thanks to anyone who knows and answers!

Also, I usually do pretty good on standardized tests and got a 1350 on the SAT with no prep. I am not particularly WORRIED per se...
