Aaaaaggghhhh....all weather all the time

All I want to do is watch the evening news. But I live near Pittsburgh and THERE'S A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS moving though. And there MIGHT BE A TORNADO! So all the news has been preempted by local weathermen gving us a closeup and detailed view of weather maps and interviews with people who have recently been rained on.

Now I appreciate the need to warn people about the weather but we're getting things like an interview with a fire captain, "Well, yeah, it was raining but it's not raining so hard now. I think there might be trees down." And then there was the interview with the lady, "Me and my husband and my dog went down into the basement but I don't think it's raining anymore."

Arrrrrrrggggghhh! I want world news! Put up a freaking weather warning and get on with the news.
