Our defense is damn good.

7. You are probably right. Besides, you guys usually bring your own refs.

Kind of like going up against *. Must be a Tejas thing.

4. Game's here in Austin, right?
Yikes. 35 pts seems a bit high. I'd bet Kansas against the spread, but straight up? :scared:

5. Yep, it's in Austin. Odds aren't good, but if we can pull out
Operation Rock Shock Jayhawk, I'm going to freakin' riot at my apartment complex.

And yes....pics will be posted online for DU's viewing pleasure.

Proud Kansas Democrat. Very similar to your avator. Great, evil minds think alike, eh?

16. As a matter of fact, it has started. KU played it's first game Wed night.
And I sat mid-court, row 2. I'm sure that I was seen throughout the broadcast, so $20 for whoever can correctly identify me.

17. Holy moly!
I love Canada, but the #1 strike against it is the lack of appreciation of college hoops. If we're lucky, a couple KU games will be picked up by CBS after the new year. Other than that my wife and I, who are proud alumni, can't see them play!

18. Can you get DirecTv in Canada? Or Dish Network?
All KU games will be available on the Full Court package.

Rock Chalk eh!

19. The costs involved have seemed a bit prohibitive.
Maybe once I get a solid job lined up, getting a satellite dish for the sole purpose of KU hoops will be practical, but for now, we've got other budget priorities. (Why do I feel like a Christian making excuses for not going to church on Sunday? :) )

20. Understood. The radio broadcasts are available online for a
small fee at www.kuathletics.com

I think it's between $10-20 for the season. Also, it's Max's 60th and final season of broadcasting. Might be nice to listen to his last season anyway.

22. Oh, no! Max is quitting!

I might have to pay for the feed. If memory serves correct, Yahoo! had 'em for free the first season we were up here.

23. Yes, it was free the first year. But it's only about $20 for the season.
And Max has given us 60 glorious years. He and his wife have both had health issues recently and I the travel is just getting to be too much. 60 years as the voice of the Hawks is a helluva long time. I'm gonna miss the old man.

24. Kick-off is near.
I have a friend coming over for the game, so I won't be posting, but wanted to make my final stand.

I need a miracle everyday!

Let's go Hawks!
