November.

Thanksgiving is coming. So much travel, so much tradition. Gas prices, which are down now of course, are still way above this time last year. So many places around the world blowing up, is any place safe? How about air travel? Can you be sure anymore? Maybe this year people stay home.

Day after Thanksgiving. Sales. Credit card rates up. Monthly repayment charges doubled recently and the threat of job loss no less now than at any other time in the last half decade. Can anyone really afford it this year? First week of Christmas shopping season sales figures should tell us a lot.

November.
