Basement clean-up today. What's your most dreaded big household job?
There is enough cardboard in my basement to ship a mid-size automobile in, and I am too freaking lazy to cut it down to a size that'll fit in the car to go to the landfill. So for the next three or four weekends, it's going to stay there.

But, piles of forgotten and smelly laundry have been sorted through and are making their way through the wash.

The shop vac has been unearthed and it's hungry for cat hair, dust bunnies and loose litter.

I don't mind using a broom or moving things around.

Sigh. I wonder: If I'd known owning a house was so much work, would I have bought it?

 Of course I would've!

What are your least favorite big household clean-up jobs?

5. I'm with you on that, WC!
and I have so much paperwork to deal with in my job, so when I don't keep up with filing, etc., I suddenly realize that my office looks like a paper bomb went off in there. So, as much as I hate cleaning it, it really does look better when it's done, and I find I can work more effectively.

6. Folding clothes and cleaning the backyard
I've put off cleaning the yard for months, I figure if I can hold out another week or so the rainy season will kick in and I'll have a built-in excuse until spring.

I should fold clothes before then, though. :(
