My cell phone suddenly can't send text msgs/email. Why not?
I can't find any help on line. It's a Motorola V180. Anyone got any clues whatever?

ARGH! I need to unsubscribe from MLB mobile alerts and I can't do it without sending a message from my phone!

ARGH! :argh:, I say!

5. Try removing the battery and putting it back
I had a problem (of a different sort) with my cell phone today, and it seems that it got "locked up" and needed to be "reset" (as I think of it). Another thing to try is to use it with the charger plugged in.

6. Could be a server/network problem
One day my text messaging wouldn't work so I called Cingular. They told me they were experiencing network problems and it would be a few hours before it was restored.

half the time, turning the phone off and then back on does the trick

the battery thing is new, but I'll remember it

Calling Cingular or whatever the carrier is largely a waste of time. You'll talk to some guy in Bangladesh who wants to sell you more products, and won't be able to help you.
