might i say they look suspiciously like those from a travel pamphlet
the seagull and the crashing green water and the blue skies
they may not be digital but are you sure you dont know photoshop or something

i dont get to the lounge very often so clearly i have missed your other wonderful photos but it was nice to come across something like this

i grew up in ny and have never been to niagara falls nor have i been to california or most other coastal areas so its especially nice

10. My family went to the falls when I was about 12.

Yes, we got soaked, too. Maid of the Mist tour. But I was disappointed we didn't go walking behind the falls. I didn't realize then just how strapped for cash my parents were.

You captured the Spirit of the Falls. :)

when you share your photographic talents.

I grew up not far from the falls, and used to visit them quite often as I had relatives in that city. Obviously I'm a long way away from them now, but it brings back some special memories. :hi:

28. I am honored that you had such a lovely reaction to my pics.....

I rather doubt however, that I will want to travel to anyplace where there is snow in the winter......

I am SO used to the sunlight and occasional cloudburst of rain here in SoCal's winters....snow would most likely throw me for a loop.....

That trip in 2002 was fantastic...we started in Chicago, and went up through the Great Lakes to Quebec......

Good times, good times.....

You've gone a long way toward capturing the breathtaking beauty of Niagara Falls. I visited them when I went to Canada in 2003 and I don't think words could ever adequately come close to expressing how beautiful I found them to be. But then I love water settings and find them to be one of the most truly magnificent natural wonders
