Can anyone recommend a good low-acid coffee?
In my quest for better health, I have quit smoking and started working out. Now I am trying to cut back on foods with a high acid content (I'm prone to heartburn). The thing is, I cannot part with my precious coffee. Free-trade coffee is preferable, and bonus points of you can find me lite or decaf. Thanks! :donut:

1. I've had the same type of problem recently.
I've cut out coffee, except for one cup in the morning. It was getting to where I had indigestion almost every night on the train home.

So...I've switched to Green Tea for now. And juice.

Someone told me that different brewing methods yield less acid. Maybe it's your coffee-maker?

4. that happened to me too
I quit smoking and my coffee consumption shot sky high - it has leveled off a bit but it seems like I have to have a vice in my life and now caffeine is it. :O

3. Same problem here.
I used to love to guzzle several cups of coffee in the morning.

Now I can't.

I've cut back to 1 1/2 cups. I add a dash of baking soda to the coffee. That sounds unappealing but I've gotten used to it.

6. Supposedly for "the taste without the caffeine"
However, all decaf brands taste like week old grounds strained through the sweatsocks you wore in High School gym class.

Go on...somebody prove me wrong, there isn't a decaf that exists that doesn't taste awful.
