The world's craziest softest tickle

I haven't posted hardly anything about our baby girl mainly because the daily "OOooh look at how cute..." would be mind numbing even to me. Oh and yes I am working on getting some pics and learning how to post them.

Okay so she is also four months now. Her latest thing, started yesterday, was to make *click*ing sounds with her tongue. She has been trying to imitate the SMOOTH sound I make when I give her a kiss for a few weeks now. I guess at least she has the noise down-she is close to saying "love" and "Mom" already.

Anyway this morning I am holding Josie and she puts both her arms around my neck and sort of kisses me on the cheek. The side of my neck, part of my tongue, and the roof of my mouth suddenly and completely had that tickle feeling (what do you call that?). It was the weirdest thing I have ever felt. I am ticklish but this was unreal.

I am still feeling it when I concentrate on it.

when she is laying on the ottoman in front of my wife (Josei usually watches TV with us---and she actually watches it too) she will twist around to look at Poppa (that's me) and smile.

I get to pick her up in two hours :bounce:

She sounds like one adorable little gal!! :)

I'd tell you all if she was ugly but she melts everyone's heart.

I'm not kidding. They stopped the check out lines at a Krogers so everyone could see her. Seriously.

She does have a full head of hair, the cutest little nose, and blue (maybe greenish) eyes, and a smile that makes your needs buckle and you can't help but smile back at her....I'm sorry what was the topic.

just thinking about little baby girls. Congratulations from one new mom to another. OMG, you are the mom, right?! Either way, congrats!

Nnnope. I'm the Dad.

The main observation that I have so far is that it seems like she has been with us for a year now. After the first month of OMG!! IS SHE BREATHING!! 1,000 times a day I got used to having her around and the communication with the eyes and the smiles started. I completely forget that she is only 4 months old until I see some one else holding her...then I think "She is just a little baby still" She doesn't seem like it to me.

She already understands all kinds of instructions and stuff from me and my wife.

... working it's magic on you both...

Remember this in a few months when she's figured out how to remove her own nappy and is practicing spot kicks with the contents all around the house... ;)

I googled it-that does mean what I thought it did (I played soccer in high school....you may not have been able to tell before but that sentence would indicate that I am American).

... that is exactly what I meant... I have now had three gorgeous little tykes... all of whom demonstrated a knack for curling one into the top corner from a VERY early age :D
