Does a zero tolerance drug/alcohol policy mean no weekend drinks for me?

I'm full of them today, I know. This is the last one before my self-imposed "Stop running to DU with all your life questions" campaign begins.

At work today we were informed that we will be drug/alcohol tested in accordance with a zero tolerance policy starting in January and spot checked if so necessary. I'm fine with that, whatever. I very rarely drink, I haven't ever done drugs...

But does that mean if I decide to have a glass of wine some night or on Sunday and I'm spot tested the next day that I will have alcohol in my system and therefore fired?

Do I need to go back to seventh grade when they taught us things like alcohol in blood or whatever?

1. I think alcohol metabolizes pretty well by the next day.

But I'd lay off the weed.

Or so I've read, because I don't know about this stuff. But I've read about it. You know?

LOL about weed. I'm a prude and so haven't ever done it. In fact, no one I know has ever done it either. And none of us know anyone who has tried this "marijuana". If that's what weed is, because I wouldn't know.

just having a glass sunday night wont show up on your monday morning test.
