To my DU Lounge friends:

I'm in nose-to-the-grindstone mode in my Anatomy and Physiology course, studying for finals and the lab practical. So I haven't been able to spend as much time in the Lounge as I'd like. I miss all of you and can't wait until I can relax and hang out some more.

A piece of good news: There is this co-worker of mine, just moved up from Texas. She's a dedicated liberal and we have good conversations at work. I told her about DU and she has been lurking for a few days now. She may register soon, and will allow me to introduce her to everybody when she does.

I took that in high school and barely got a C; there's just way, way, waaaaaaaaaay too much shit in our bodies; and I got creeped out just cutting open pig brains.
