17. I never noticed I was getting old until

my friend told me that when he turned 25 he was depressed for a month. I'm three months older than him and just turned 26. He totally put me in a funk when he said that. I'll be 31 next week, but I look like I'm about 20 so I can get away with my immaturity. :)

until I reach 50. Eek. I wonder what the retirement age will be when I get to the current retirement age. That has been a recurring theme for generation X. I'll bet they enslave us all to Wal-Mart as greeters or something equally hideous like another unfulfilling and unappreciated position. I had better get busy with some strategery (sic for the sake of humor) if I am going to win that Powerball if and when NC ever makes good on its promise to have the lottery here.
