Anyone see Alfie?
I bought it because a good friend of mine is in it.

But it sucked big time! Plus my friend was onscreen for like 5 seconds.

Very bad film. Avoid at all costs!

1. I don't know why I did
I really like the original, hadn't heard anything positive about the remake, but still decided I had to see it.

And God what a horrible piece of shit film it was (though there was one guy on it for a few seconds who was incredible :) )

Poor you for owning it. There's always ebay.

2. I have an obsession with Jude Law
but it wasn't a very good movie.

I'd get it just for the swoon factor though :D

The original was so great and it has Jude Law, so I was hopeful. Oh well.

3. I really liked it.
It was more like a play than a film....and I thought he was going to get AIDS. I was kind of surprised by what ended up happening, but then I never saw the original one.

I was kind of bummed by the end, though.

4. Not a patch on the original...
... and yet another totally unnecessary reworking of an original idea (like the cinematic white elephant that was "The Italian Job")...

Now then... who's being a purist now?
