1. Has it ever occured to anyone else that a fishtank is a reverse submarine
I mean, a submarine is a bubble of air that people use to live underwater, and an aquarium is a bubble of water that fish use to live up here in the air.

I think that's kind of odd.

2. That IS kind of odd...
I'd never thought of it that way, but you know that thought is permanently embedded in my head now :)

4. That was my plan
I've been thinking about that ever since we had a fishtank when I was a little kid.

11. Except, that a submarine
is a bubble of air that is kept inside of several tons of steel (sometimes with windows) that we get in to go down under the water of our own free will (unless, of course, one is being used by the CIA for a secret priillegal codemakeRemote('duboard.php?az=emotion_table')
Smilies lookup tableson) and an aquarium is a bubble of water in which we put fish that have been fishnapped or have been born in captivity and is used sort of like a cia secret prison

other than that:yoiks:

12. Well, I didn't put *that* much thought into it
I don't see why we have to drag the CIA into this...

9. It's a 125 gallon, and those are moonlight gouramis
Edited on Sun Nov-20-05 08:54 PM by Rabrrrrrr
and black tetras, and some head and taillight tetras.

And some other fish, but I don't think one can see anything else other than the tetras and gouramis.

13. I remember when you were posting about setting it up.
How do you like your gouramis? Are they easy or difficult to keep alive?
