4. That's bloody brilliant!
I love this:

"Q: Did you just say that God could do a shapeshift? I thought God didn't allow that kind of thing!

A: Yes, I did say that God could perform a shape-shift on someone. You forget that God is generous and kind. He knows our sufferings, and He will satisfy our longings to become powerful nonhuman beings if we remain faithful to Him. Read Psalm 37:4. God will reward His children with whatever delights them, but when He feels it is the right time."

----

random fact -- the guy who wrote "Confessions of an Economic Hit-Man" has published a series of books about shapeshifting.

5. Reasons why I'm a Christian Liberal Shape Shifter....
1. Church Potlucks are hell on the waistline.
2. Communion once a month - and I get the leftovers.
3. I, for one, have come to love and nourish my beastie within... and let it out regularly. ;)
4. I'm not letting that "Moral Majority" get to any other world. They must be stopped - NOW.
5. Prosthelytizing to shape-shifters is dangerous. If you're a lamb, what do you do when you meet a ravenous lion?
6. Some shape-shifters are comfortable in their degree of spirituality. Who am I to tell them they're wrong?

6. Well that was fucking scary
But nothing for vampires?

(I once ended up on the mailing list for Southern Baptist spankers - how to spank your wife/husband the Jesus way!)

Khash, shaking his head in disbelief.

7. My Favorite....
<...Some men, after watching numerous scenes of other men having sex with women can develop a taste for their own sex. Pornographers now regularly put lesbian scenes in all their movies, claiming that it is more fun to watch than hetero action (yeah, right, its boring as hell to watch). Myriads of people watch these movies - people in powerful positions - and they are brainwashed into enjoying gay sex portrayed on television. No wonder we have so much 'progress' in gay rights - the judges and politicians are probably gay themselves and want to enjoy their sinful pleasures without feeling guilty...

lasbian scenes in movies.... When did they start doing this!!!! and why wasn't I told about it....

12. My favorite:
Most gay people didn't choose to have homosexual temptations. They can choose not to give into the homosexual temptations, but humans are just that. Human. This makes them, to me, just as tragic as we shifter folk. I have four friends who are gay and I love them like brothers.

However, liking gay people does not mean that I condone their behavior. I myself have had homoerotic fantasies, but I know its wrong, so I try to avoid them, though sometimes I fail.

(Didn't see THAT coming, did you?)

13. Close second:
It never occurred to me then that smoking drugs was morally wrong. After all, I need to spend $120 a month on tranquilizers anyways to treat my illness. Marijuana was just another medicine to me. I felt the government owed me the right to smoke marijuana so I could be a happy and productive citizen (any of you who have schizophrenia or anything like that know how disabling mental illness can be).

(Didn't see THAT coming, did you?)

15. New favorite:
I no longer play roleplaying games. I don't need them. I have the Holy Spirit to give me miraculous powers. I have the Father to supply all my needs. I have Jesus to change me into a dragon and create neat lizard people to assist me in heaven. I don't need the fantasy because I have the reality.

(OMG!!!!)

16. Also in the top 5:
If any book, film, picture, toy, or game relies upon magick to the degree that you are required to believe in it or the entertainment form won't make sense, then it serves satan's purpose in brainwashing you into thinking that his demonic powers are equal to or superior to God's.  So many children's toys (Teddy Ruxpin, the Smurfs, etc), books (Harry Potter, etc), comic books (The X-Men, The Avengers, etc), and cartoons (Captain Planet, Akira, etc) are saturated with the New Age philosophy of gaining supernatural power through one's own exertions because the devil wants to indoctrinate us at an early age.

(Teddy Ruxpin?????? The talking bear?)

17. And more:
Favorite were-music: I'm not sure. Are Duran Duran werewolves? They sing Hungry Like The Wolf, Blue Moon On Monday, and Wild Boys.

Favorite non-were music: I have very eclectic tastes. If it has a good melody and isn't blasphemous, I'll listen to it. I like Darryl Hall and John Oates, Abba, Air Supply, Chilliwack, The Bee Gees, Journey, Saga, Queensryche, Rick Astley, Kool and the Gang, Naked Eyes, Corey Hart, The Cars, Dead or Alive, Lionel Ritchie, Tina Turner, Genesis, Asia, Strange Advance, Alan Parsons Project, Electric Light Orchestra, Gino Vannelli, The Eurhythmics, The Scorpions, Sweet, Elegy, Fates Warning, Rhapsody, Blind Guardian, Dragonlord (the Spanish one), Megadeth, Front Line Assembly, VNV Nation, Infekktion, and Rammstein. I used to listen to a greater variety of metal and industrial bands, but the majority of them blaspheme God, so I don't listen to them anymore. I still have a little bit of metalhead left in me, but I'm a sensitive dragon who needs sensitive music in order to think clearly.

9. My favorite:
"I do not consider satanism, Buddhism, spiritualism, atheism/secular humanism, or the kabbalah true religions. The first is dedicated to oppressing other people, the second makes man a god and therefore is disqualified as a religion, the third is communication with demons and therefore just as awful as satanism, the fourth is a lack of spiritual belief, and the last is satanism dressed up as fancy Judaism. Cry all you want, but I will not protect a non-religion."

10. Let us read brothers and sisters, from the Book of Molatar. . .
Chapter 9, Verses 13-14

13. "Yea, oh Lord, I find myself thirsty and wanting of spirituality for I find my own form disgusting and banal."
14. And, so did the Lord show to Molatar the greatness of his spirit that he might go forth and speak to the members of the shifter communities.

Okay, someone should really write to this guy and give him these words from the Bible: "Pride goeth before the fall."

This dragon's pride is rivaled by only that of Dick Chaney. It's nearly to the point of hubris.

14. I think this quote from the site says it all:
"I have a severe mental illness which resists treatment and robs me of all my motivation, enjoyment of life, and social and financial skills."

18. Well thank goodness for that FAQ.
Just today I was wondering if werewolves and vampires were enemies in real life.

And now I know that it depends upon the individuals, and whether you are talking about sang or psi vamps.

Thank you for this informative post, Swag. I've gotta go change now.
