Would think I haven't ever been in a DU flamewar before... almost glad it got all locked up.

I stay out of flamewars now. Except when I go in and crack jokes. That's about the only way I get into wars nowadays.

2. only old scabs pulled off

and some of the old cynicism rearing back up and being reconfirmed by some posting. Normally I can't be bothered with flamewars. Probably should have stayed away, but am glad I didn't. I think I said some things that needed to be said, but it was draining - and I am pretty glad it is over/locked.
