BAD combo: Hot Glue Gun and opposable thumbs.
Burned BOTH thumbs, oh ouch ouch ouch ouch... yes, the PHILANGES are a very delicate and sensitive part of the body.

And worse, nary a blister. Nothing to even show for the scorching pain.

*sigh*

Wait, are the thumbs still considered philanges? Did I spell that right?

3. I badly burned myself with a hot glue gun, requiring medial attention
I used to do display work. Got too fast and loose with the gun. I still have the scars on my wrist.

5. And even if you get the wound to cold water -- which would be hard to do
on the set, that crap BURNS and BURNS and BURNS til it cools AND THEN you can rip it off.
