How socially deficient is this?
We have a going away lunch today for a coworker, in the building across from me. I said yesterday that I was going with, and they usually leave at 11:00.

I am on the phone at 11, and I call over when I get off the phone -- 11:08. No answer.

I go over and they are all gone. No one left me a message or walked up to my cube. They knew I was here today.

How freaking ridiculous is that?

Okay maybe they should have gotten a rope and gone around to each office and gotten each of you on the rope so no one got lost cross the street. or maybe they could get one of those giant strollers. or maybe they could pin something to your clothes so strangers could point you in the right direction.

17. I was the only one from this building coming to this lunch.
I often go to lunch with all of them.

If it was within walking distance, I would have just gone too, but they drove >5 miles and I take the bus to work. C'est la vie, I guess.

10. This coworker is very sad that she won't be working with me any more.
but she just couldn't take working under her supervisor for such little money any more.

I am a VERY nice person.
