Phil Spector charged with murder (FINALLY)

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Legendary "Wall of Sound" record producer Phil Spector has been charged with murdering B-movie actress Lana Clarkson at his Alhambra, California, home last February, prosecutors say.

Spector, 63, was arrested on February 3 after Clarkson, 41, was found shot to death in the foyer of his faux castle home, but he was quickly freed on $1 million bail.

There's always a "scandal" to keep the masses tuned in, in lieu of actual news.

On the Canadian front: I hear that Mayor Mel is retiring and moving to Florida. He'll blend right in, with his collection of Old Dude Cabana shirts.
