anyways I wasnt watching, I was thinking about RFK of people, thinking about what could have been.

I saw an advert on NBC filled with a lot of action scenes and then the announcer saying it's the ER I don't want to miss.

Gee, I missed it...

Normally I'd make a snide comment about television, but this time I can't - I was going between PBS and ABC as both were talking about JFK; the former on his life and the latter on the assassination.

I completely forgot that people on the west coast hadn't seen ER yet, and I was posting completely out of shock and disbelief. Hope most people didn't see that spoiler accidentally on the West Coast.

He's a wonderful person and a great actor.

he's got a big fan in me. I first noticed him in RoboCop, and he was so delightfully nasty I've made a point to watch anything he's in.

what's happened?

got arrested and he posted bond and he said he didn`t do anything then they wheeled him in the operating room and reattached his nose. pretty exciting episode

its been driving me nuts for like a year. I know she was on another show but I can't remember which

News Radio is it. She sure is cute.

She's one reason I watch ER ... so I bet she's gonna get it (just 9pm here in California).

I'll give you all the details...That was a GREAT ER!! One of the best I've seen...only it was weird to have a disaster work out organization wise without Carter. I miss him.

Is there something "strange" in Luka's attraction to that nurses' kid?

unbearable to watch. Too soapy, too melodramatic, not at all entertaining.

And I didn't watch last night, either, despite the huckstering by NBC. The promo of a flaming helicopter falling out of the sky was in spectacularly bad taste, I thought.

He was my buddy. He was the most interesting character on the show!

Nobody wondered about the accident, and the possibility that he was hit. It doesn't make sense. As for Carter, thank God he's gone. What an annoying twit.

I think the fact that no one missed him was the point of that.

Sounds like the actor just wanted out of the role - here was a really complex character - a real asshole who occassionally showed signs of profound humanity - clearly had a soft spot for Lizzy

Then the only thing that redeemed this guy to himself and those around him - his talent as a surgeon is stripped from him - could have been a wonderful storyline to see how a person could possibly overcome that.

And then they just take him out like that - I guess, oh, the irony...and the fact that the actor must have wanted out was too compelling for the writers to resist.

I would have liked to have seen Romano develop.

Oh well.

Maura Tierney is basically the only reason to watch the show anymore.

He says it was not his idea to leave, but the writers. He harbors no ill will, though.

Just like how they dropped the ball with Kerry, her having a baby would have been really interesting but they copped and wrote in a miscarriage.

the show is going into a break for a few weeks for the holidays etc.
Not sure when the new ones will be begin airing, might get one or two news ones before Christmas to keep us "interested" but it will return in earnest after the new year.

As usual, whenever the media or Hollywood dabbles with aviation they get it all wrong. No way a bit of turbulence is going to bring down a departing chopper- I've flown through worse on a landing approach before I had my licenced and it was barely a hiccup.

What happened to Carter? Did Noah Wiley leave the show?

He took a personal leave of about 6 weeks.

He comes back better and with a new "friend" ;-)
